Are there any verses of Satan lying to people in the Bible?

Lying is what Satan does, constantly.

• Revelation 12:9 “This great dragon—the ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, THE ONE DECEIVING the whole world—was thrown down to the earth with all his angels.”

Satan’s first recorder lie:

Genesis 3:1–5 “The serpent was the shrewdest of all the wild animals the Lord God had made. One day he asked the woman, “Did God really say you must not eat the fruit from any of the trees in the garden?”
“Of course we may eat fruit from the trees in the garden,” the woman replied.“ It’s only the fruit from the tree in the middle of the garden that we are not allowed to eat. God said, ‘You must not eat it or even touch it; if you do, you will die.’”
“You won’t die!” the serpent replied to the woman. “God knows that your eyes will be opened as soon as you eat it, and you will be like God, knowing both good and evil.”

Sin = death. No one who is spiritually dead can become “like God,” for God is HOLY and ALIVE, there is no evil in Him! Adam and Eve fell for Satan’s lie and it led them to sin = death.

• Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord.”
• 1 Corinthians 15:56–57 “For sin is the sting that results in death, and the law gives sin its power. But thank God! He gives us victory over sin and death through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

1 John 3:8–10 “But when people keep on sinning, it shows that they belong to the devil, who has been sinning since the beginning. But the Son of God came to destroy the works of the devil. Those who have been born into God’s family DO NOT make a practice of sinning, because God’s life is in them. So they can’t keep on sinning, because they are children of God. So now we can tell who are children of God and who are children of the devil. Anyone who does not live righteously and does not love other believers does not belong to God.”

John 8:44 “For you are the children of your father the devil, and you love to do the evil things he does. He was a murderer from the beginning. He has always hated the truth, because THERE IS NO TRUTH IN HIM. WHEN HE LIES, IT IS CONSISTENT WITH HIS CHARACTER; for HE IS A LIAR AND THE FATHER OF LIES.”

1 Timothy 5:6 “But the widow who lives only for pleasure is SPIRITUALLY DEAD EVEN WHILE SHE LIVES.”

Those who REPENTED from their sins and turned to God. Pay attention: it is written is PAST TENSE.

Ephesians 2:1-3 “ONCE YOU WERE DEAD because of your disobedience and your many SINS. YOU USED TO LIVE IN SIN, just like the rest of the world, obeying the devil—the commander of the powers in the unseen world. He is the spirit at work in the hearts of those who REFUSE TO OBEY GOD. All of us USED TO live that way, following the passionate desires and inclinations of our sinful nature. By our very nature we were subject to God’s anger, just like everyone else.”
